Cancer presumption passes committee

This afternoon the House Labor Committee passed HB 4473, this year's version of the cancer presumption bill.  Although the bill was amended to clarify that it applies only to active firefighters, this legislation would still increase workers compensation premiums by an estimated 10-25% per community.  Contact your Representative and let him/her know that this bill is harmful to our communities!
