Today the Senate passed its version of the cable dispute resolution bill, SB 190, without amendment.  This bill still contains the "loser pays" provision that would require your community's taxpayer dollars to pay attorney fees for cable. A big thanks to Senators Anderson, Brater, Cassis, Clark-Coleman, Jacobs, Jelinek, Scott, Van Woerkom and Whitmer for standing up for their communities and voting no on this bill.  Procedurally, because the House and Senate passed different bills, each chamber now has to consider the other's bill. Please continue to contact your legislators and let them know that these bills are harmful for your community!
