The House Energy & Tech committee passed SB 190 unanimously with an amendment to include the "reasonable and nonexcessive" attorney fees as was inserted in HB 4247 when it passed the House. This amendment does not remove the "loser pays" language and still would have local units pay attorney fees for cable in the event that it rejects a settlement by the MPSC.  Please continue to contact your State Representative as this moves through the House.
