The Michigan Chapter of the National Brownfield Association, in conjunction with several other organizations, is sponsoring a program on very important subjects that affect municipalities, developers, lenders and transaction specialists. Knowledgeable and experienced speakers will discuss how to manage U.S. EPA grants, how to manage brownfield financial incentive programs, how to negotiate a development agreement and still make the deal, how to obtain financing for projects in these challenging times, and how the proposed legislative changes to Michigan’s cleanup program (Part 201) will affect communities and developers.
Among others, speakers will include: John Kerr (DWCPA), Flo McCormick (MAC), Peter Anastor (MEDC, invited), Grant Trigger (REI Group), Art Papapanos (City of Detroit), Brian Eggers (AKT Peerless), Lynelle Marolf (DNRE), Troy Cumings (Warner, Norcross) and a panel of lenders.
