Broadband stimulus changes coming

A high ranking official involved in the Recovery Act Broadband Initiative announced this week that changes are coming to program rules and funding rounds.  According to the chief of staff at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, the final two funding rounds will likely be consolidated into one and that comments on rule changes would be sought beginning in mid-October.  Now is the time for locals to prepare for this second round of funding.  Check the League Broadband webpage for more information and continued updates.
