Am I a Broken Record?

PA 312, PA 312, PA 312. Today I had 4 (count 'em 4!) meetings on PA 312 with legislators, staff and other lobbyists.  We know what a contentious and difficult issue this is, but we're hoping to really gain some momentum this year with the budget crisis.  Although sometimes I feel like I'm banging my head up against the wall, today I feel positive about getting these reforms. Sure, it's a long shot. It always has been. But at least there's a shot however small it may be.  As we enter this legislative session, please remind your legislators each and every time you meet with them about how detrimental PA 312 is to your community.  The more they hear it, the easier it makes our jobs here in Lansing!
