93 state and local law enforcement agencies across Michigan will be receiving $41 million through the Recovery Act in Byrne Justice Assistance grants.  These competitive grants are administered through the state Office of Drug Control Policy and can be used for a number of public safety activities including community policing and multi-jurisdictional task forces.
