The Michigan House of Representatives, March 24, passed the General Government Budget bill with a 1-percent increase in revenue sharing for communities! House Bill (HB) 5880 now awaits Senate action which is not expected until lawmakers return April 13 from their spring recess.
Please consider writing a letter to the editors in your area to publicly thank your lawmakers if they voted with you. If they opposed the increase, still write a letter to the editor – residents should hear from you when their state lawmakers do not support essential services.
