Geared to help public bodies conduct smooth, well-run, legal meetings, this training will intertwine the rules of parliamentary procedure and the legal aspects of the Open Meetings Act. Quorums and types of motions will be explained and demonstrated. Upon completion of this program, attendees will be able to handle interruptions and disruptions during meetings; define ethical issues and conflict of interest concerns; and put into practice the proper procedures to run an effective meeting.
